CEGP’s publication calls for staffers

The guild’s official publication is open to high school and college students.

In this time when misinformation and disinformation augment state repression, the country is in greater need of more bastions of truth and militant vanguards of press freedom.

Critical and progressive reportage that serves and amplifies the masses’ interests is as essential as having a nationalist, scientific, and mass-oriented response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bringing back the militant culture of writing and contributing to much-needed information dissemination during these times, the College Editors Guild of the Philippines (CEGP) opens the application for staffers for their official publication, The National Guilder (TNG).

Advocating journalism for the people, CEGP is welcome for high school and college students who can write for the following sections: news, opinion, and features.

TNG is open to both traditional and digital arts such as photojournalism, cartooning, and layout. Fact-checking and research enthusiasts are welcome to try out as well.

Join CEGP’s official publication now! Sign up at https://tinyurl.com/thenationalguilder and send your sample works to cegphils@gmail.com until May 15.

The application period will be from May 5 to 10.

May our pens, lens, and screens meet in one nameplate soon!
